Celebrate the 2023 summer solstice at this special afterhours event, with select Smithsonian museums open until midnight. In the Enid Haupt Garden, enjoy performances and programming between the National Museum of Asian Art and the National Museum of African Art. Join us for a DJ set by Les The DJ, performances, and late-night access to our exhibitions. Museum shop will be open until 10 p.m.
 
5:30 p.m.–12 a.m.: Museum galleries open late, food and beverages available to purchase in the Haupt Garden, as well as DJ sets, performances, and a light show in the Haupt Garden. 

6–8 p.m.: DJ set by Les The DJ in the Haupt Garden*

6 p.m.: Curator-led Tour of Connecting Stories, Sackler, gallery 26

8 p.m.: Curator-led Tour of The Peacock Room, Freer, gallery 12

8 p.m.–12 a.m.: Performances curated by African Art in the Haupt Garden
