Request Form: Virtual Field Trip

Virtual field trips are 60 minutes long, unless indicated on the form below. 

A minimum of 10 students is required for virtual field trips.

Virtual field trips can be scheduled starting 2 weeks from today’s date.

Virtual field trips are not confirmed until the teacher receives the confirmation email.  Confirmation will arrive within 5 business days of completing the request form.

We welcome any specific curricular connections or other information that would help us learn about your group. Subject to availability, we can accommodate requests for tours in some foreign languages (please specify) and American Sign Language interpreters.

A virtual museum educator will follow up to request a phone call, a virtual meeting, or an email for more information. Teachers should respond promptly to the email. Students and teachers will engage with virtual museum educators for the duration of the virtual field trip. To encourage engagement, we require that cameras be turned on. We require that teachers call on students to respond to questions and direct students to walk over to the microphone to share their answers. Teachers may need to repeat or paraphrase student responses for the virtual museum educators.
