Description

Celebrate Nowruz by joining curator Massumeh Farhad on a tour of Engaging the Senses: Arts of the Islamic World. Nowruz, the Persian New Year, marks the spring equinox and is celebrated by people in many regions represented in this exhibition. As the spring begins to reawaken our senses, learn how diverse artistic traditions addressed sound, sight, taste, touch, and smell.

Please meet at the entrance to gallery 3 for the tour. We recommend you register in advance.
