Description
Celebrate spring and DC’s beloved cherry blossoms with a festive family workshop. Learn how conservators care for collections that are even more fragile than cherry blossoms. Then create and preserve your own cherry blossom–inspired art.
This hands-on preservation workshop is designed for children ages three to eight and their caretakers. The program is cohosted by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This program is presented in partnership with the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
There will be two sessions, each lasting about an hour and a half. Please register for one session only.
