Description
What is it about cherry trees, or sakura, that makes them so beloved? During this live, interactive webinar, students will explore hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of “flower viewing.” Through paintings, woodblock prints, and other art forms, students will discover Japanese symbols, values, and traditions associated with blooming cherry trees. These sessions are perfect for homeschool groups or for teachers who may want to review a recording after the live session. Register for dates depending on student grade level. Unable to attend live? Links to view the recording will be sent to those who register.
