Join us for a midday yoga session led by Yoga District founder Jasmine Chehrazi. Whether you are a beginner or a steady practitioner, enjoy the flow in our newly renovated, open-air courtyard.

About Jasmine:

Jasmine loves offering a huge variety of options in her classes so that everyone from beginning students to acrobatic advanced yogis can find a way to have fun, stretch out, and strengthen up. Jasmine tries to inspire presence of mind in her classes by moving students through poses at a pace faster than their thoughts, helping you back-burner your to-do list. With a strong foundation in meditation, Jasmine often introduces a mantra coordinating with the breath at the beginning of class as yet another means to help you slow your thoughts, to bring your focus to the body, and to help you make space for the self beyond your mind and body to grow during strategic periods of rest amid sequences of flowing poses. Her sequences are largely inspired by the Dharma Mittra yoga tradition, an old-school classic system of asana (yoga poses) supported by a deep belief in offering one's practice and all action to the highest self/universal intelligence/interconnectedness of all things.

A number of yoga mats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring your own mat and tools. If you wish to explore the museum before or after the class, you will need to store your yoga mat. We have free lockers at each entrance for your use.
