Description

Journey around the world with the National Museum of Asian Art Portal in partnership with Shared_Studios. Shared_Studios uses immersive audio and video technology to bring together communities around the globe for transformative conversations, as if they were taking place in the same room. Engage in meaningful cross-cultural exchange and creative collaboration with communities across Asia and those shaped by the Asian diaspora.

Throughout the centennial, we will connect to communities in Rwanda, Erbil, Mexico City, Medellin, Johannesburg, Santos, Mumbai, and Bangalore to explore everything from journeys home to journeys across borders and how these movements (re)shape our understanding of the world.

Connect around the question: “What is a significant journey in your life?”
