2017 was an amazing year at the National Museum of Asian Art! A special highlight was the screening of A Perfect Harmony, projected across the façade of our beloved Freer Gallery during the IlluminAsia festival back in October. Created especially for the museums’ grand reopening by Tony-awarding winning 59 Productions, the mega-video playfully surveys our collections and celebrates the innovative work—and new technologies—of artists today.
Your support and enthusiasm for National Museum of Asian Art inspires these vibrant art happenings. Please continue your support in the new year and celebrate 2018 with A Perfect Harmony at home.
P.S. We’ve had lots of requests for an encore screening of A Perfect Harmony on the Freer façade. We’re looking into it and will keep you posted!
