The Whistler Peacock Room

This illustrated booklet consists of two sections, each devoted to the discussion of an object in the collection of the Freer Gallery of Art. The first of these bears the full title Harmony in Blue and Gold: The Peacock Room. The second is the painting entitled Rose and Silver: The Princess from the Land of Porcelain. The latter work is displayed permanently in the Peacock Room, whose decorations were designed to complement it.
