Object Details

  • Description

    Small covered box with domed lid and rounded knob.
    Clay: light gray stoneware with black flecks.
    Glaze: thin, transparent, grayish where thick.
    Decoration: painted in underglaze iron. Leaf motifs pointing downward on lid, upward on body, between horizontal lines.
    Mark: none.
