Object Details

  • Description

    Bowl, shallow, with flange rim and low circular base, recessed on the inside.
    Surface: gilded, partially covered with a green and blue patina, and earthy incrustation.
    Decoration: three narrow raised bands in low relief around body on exterior, with two monster masks, one on either side, each with a ring loop. Incised decoration of scrolls on interior and exterior base, cavetto and exterior walls, and flange rim.
