Object Details

  • Description

    Globular jar with thickened rim and two loop handles. Radiating mark incised in clay on unglazed base.
    Clay: gray, fired hard and turned reddish brown in exposed areas.
    Glaze: opaque blue gray with all-over crackle stained brown; areas of reddish purple with flecks of green; stops unevenly in heavy blobs about 1/2" above foot rim.
