Description
The plate stands on a low broad foot and has sides which curve steeply up before they turn out to form a flat rim with a scalloped edge. A floral decoration occupies the center of the plate and is circled by more abstract floral decorations and spirals. The decoration is blue and black on a white background. The glaze has a deep stained crackle. On the outer surface, between the foot ring and the rim, there is a pseudo-calligraphic design. -
