Object Details

  • Description

Object is a deep, straight sided, blue and white glazed stoneware cup, set on a small raised foot. The glaze does not cover most of the interior of the cup, or the underside of the foot, revealing in both areas a tan and reddish brown ware. The "white" areas of glazing are actually more light blue than white. Wheel thrown, the interior bottom has deep ridged depressions that look like they were formed by someone's fingers when the cup was made.
