The Smithsonian's Morning at the Museum is a free, sensory-friendly program for children, teenagers, and young adults who are neurodiverse and their families. Come explore the National Museum of Asian Art in the quiet time before our normal opening hours.
8:30 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.
- Self-Led Activities: Scavenger Hunts and Slow Looking Guides available at a staffed table and distributed throughout the galleries.
- 3D Art Table: Featuring 3D-printed objects on display and a 3D printer in action for visitors to watch.
- Ceramic Puzzles: Hands-on activity exploring ceramic-themed puzzles made from foam, real ceramic pieces, and paper cut-outs.
