To celebrate the special exhibition Whistler: Streetscapes, Urban Change, the National Museum of Asian Art in partnership with Art to Go-Go (powered by the Anacostia Business Improvement District) and the 11th Street Bridge Park, a project of the Ward 8 nonprofit Building Bridges Across the River, will host a pop-up market featuring small businesses located east of the Anacostia River. Connect and shop with local creators and entrepreneurs and learn more about DC’s Arts and Culture District in historic Anacostia.

Enjoy food, music by DJ Art.is, and special tours of Whistler: Streetscapes, Urban Change by curator Diana Greenwold and by local community leaders who will look at parallels between the urbanization of nineteenth-century Europe and contemporary changes to local neighborhoods and streetscapes.

Come and support the local creative community!
