Whether you have never made kimchi before or have spent time with your family making and jarring kimchi for years, join us as Chef Patrice leads us in a kimchi-making class and spreads the love of kimchi. Kimchi is used for a variety of traditional Korean dishes and is eaten with almost every Korean meal. Full of naturally occurring probiotics, this small but mighty dish is something you will make for years to come after this class.
About our chef: Patrice, born and raised in Washington, DC, is the founder of Cooking with Patrice LLC, which focuses on sharing her heritage and her culinary passion for Korean-American cuisines. During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, she took the opportunity to focus on her dream goal of selling her mother’s kimchi recipe. She is currently selling her kimchi products (Tae-Gu Kimchi) at several farmers markets in DC, shipping nationwide and making her way into the grocery store to become a national brand.
