Vessel was originally brought in on loan from the Hauges in 2007 for the exhibition on ceramics in Mainland Southeast Asia, “Taking Shape.” The Hagues' heirs, Daniel and Sachi Rosenbaum, agreed to allow Washington Oriental Ceramic Group to purchase the jar in order to present it as a gift to the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery.[2] The jar was formally accessioned into the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in 2018. See Acquisition Consideration Form, object file, Collections Management Office. -
