Object Details

  • Description

The plate has low curving sides and a broad low foot ring. Blue and white decorations, with minor elements done in black, cover the surface. Within the central circular area of the inside surface is a decoration of birds and floral elements. Surrounding this area is a wide annular band that extends to the rim and contains a honeycomb-and-dot pattern. The exterior is simply decorated with blue lines, eight of which radiate out from the two blue lines that circle the foot ring. Another blue line circles the outer wall just below the rim.
