Many of Yoshida's prints, whether of Japan or foreign countries, focus on people in ordinary settings. Here a group of people, including many children, gathers around a snake charmer who plays music as a cobra rises to face him. This print incorporates the largest number of printingseighty-one color impressions of any in Yoshida's India series. -
