Object Details

  • Description

An oval vessel with a gently constricted cylindrical neck that opens with a slightly flaring, plain rim. A simple band handle extends from just below the rim to the shoulder. Opposite the handle, a long spout ending in the head of an animal, probably a ram, is drawn out from the side of the vessel. The vessel rests in part on two stubby feet drawn out below the zoomorphic spout.
