    Folio from a dispersed copy of Mihr and Mushtari by Assar; Mihr and Mushtari have blood taken from their arms; five lines of text in Persian black nasta'liq script; one of a group of three: manuscripts (S 1986.62, S 1986.39) and folio (S 1986.164).
    Border: The painting is set in red, purple, blue, and green rulings mounted on a paperboard with landscape and animal motifs.
