• Description

  Small jar with tall straight neck, spherical body, and small flat base.

  Clay: coarse, buff with black speckles.

  Glaze: clear, lustrous, reaching below mid-point of body; interior and base unglazed.

  Decoration: in underglaze iron; thick band around neck; two thin lines around shoulder and one thick line around lower body framing panel of four-petal floral figures alternating with leaf sprays.

  Mark: none.
