Object Details

• Description

  Small dish with pleated rim.

  Clay: pale gray pottery. Two chips on footrim.

  Glaze: transparent glaze with pale greenish tone (Ofuke glaze), large irregular crackles stained brown; glaze deeper green in tone where thick. Interior of footrim glazed; glaze wiped off edge and outside of footrim and surrounding base. Patch of gray reduction on rim.

  Decoration: pleating on narrow everted rim.
