  • Description

    Cylindrical, flat base slightly rounded upward at edge, six Horizontal ribs around sides, shallow rounded cover with five concentric grooves has knob terminating in cone. Chips. Wooden stand (c).
    Clay: light pinkish buff,fine-textured earthenware, typical of T'ang.
    Glaze: thick, green deteriorated, some inridescence. Inside of cover and base of box unglazed.
    Decoration: grooves and ribs as described.
