Object Details

  • Description

    Jar, eleven lobes, low coarse foot.
    Clay: light buff stoneware.
    Glaze: transparent over white slip; thin with runs collected in large drops at foot; ranging from colorless to amber according to thickness; two irregular green areas; fine crackle.
    Decoration: incised in slip. Wisteria on background partially hatched and cross-hatched.
