  • Description

    Octagonal dish on a high round foot.
    Clay: coarse, off-white porcelain.
    Glaze: thick, transparent, slightly matte surface.
    Decoration: an underglaze blue circle inside, and one around foot; overglaze enamel painting of pheasants on a peony tree, conventional borders inside and out.
    Underglaze blue mark: Fuku 福 in a double square, roughly executed.
