    Manuscript; Gulistan (Rose garden) by Sa'di; Ottoman in black nasta'liq script with blue, gold, and white headings; 153 folios, a sarlawh (fol.2 verso), 2 paintings (103recto and 110 recto), and one dated colophon (fol. 153verso); standard page:13 lines of text.
    Binding: The manuscript is bound in dark-brown leather over paper pasteboards with a gold central scalloped medallion and cornerpieces. The doublures are of red leather with a central medallion in a blue ground.
