    Manuscript; Selection of Hadiths (Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad); Arabic in black, red, and gold naskh and thuluth script with gold rosette verse markers; vocalized in black with red letters for recitation and reading; 35 folios with one illuminated frontispiece (folio 2 recto); 4 interleaves between fols.3-4, fols. 6-7 and fols. 9-10; interlinear and marginal notes; colophon (folio 35 verso); standard page, one column, 7 lines of text.
    Binding: The manuscript is bound in cardboard with doublures of paper.
  • Inscriptions

    On doublures written with pencil in English: "Arabic, written between the year 600 and 700 of the Hijra period, for the Sultan of Hamma (?) - Isma'il Abu'l-Fida, C.L.F."
