• Description

  Vase in shape of fulling block (kinuta hanaire 砧花入)

  Lacquer repairs on rim.

  Clay: hard, dense, gray, reddish on surface.

  Glaze: brilliant copper-green, crackled, with areas of reduced red. Applied over white slip.
