  • Description

    Individual serving dish, one of a set of five (F1907.86.1-5) with various designs (egawari chuzara); lip chipped.
    Clay: red earthenware.
    Glaze: lead glaze, iridescent, crackled.
    Decoration: on cloud-shaped bands of white slip, desigm of bamboo grass (sasa) in iron brown, green, and yellow in-glaze pigments. Design overlaps slightly to base.
