Object Details

• Description

  Narrow plate rim with squat, ovoidal coping; four lion-headed feet. Overpainting on underside of base and on rim.

  Clay: hard, gray.

  Glaze: brilliant grayish-green celadon; crackled. Thin earthy deposits.

  Decoration: inlaid in white under glaze, and incised: lotus-petal lappets, clouds.
