Object Details

  • Description

    Bowl, large ovoidal; low foot with attachments of kiln slag.
    Clay: hard, gray.
    Glaze: brilliant grayish celadon; crackled.
    Decoration: molded in very low relief in the paste under glaze, inside: full-faced chrysanthemum in bottom; large-scale floral motif on walls, nearly illegible.
