Object Details

• Description

  Vase of the type "hu"; flat base broken and repaired, crack up one side; small areas restored; spurmarks on base.

  Clay: reddish, sandy texture; fired medium hard.

  Glaze: lead silicate; much silvery iridescence, deterioration.

  Decoration: band of animals and hunters among hills in relief; two simulated mask and ring handles moulded in relief and applied.
