Object Details

  • Description

    Small jar, silver rim, concave base.
    Clay: coarse, hard, grayish, pitted, remnants of iron wash.
    Glaze: iron glaze, copper-brown with black mottling, splashed in black (iron glaze) and (ash glaze), yellow-brown, thin ash glaze on interior.
    Decoration: wavy combing around shoulder.
