• Description

  Raqqa type. Jar: tall ovoidal, with a rounded foot, sloping neck and two handles. Broken and repaired; neck restored with plaster.

  Clay: soft, buff.

  Glaze: originally green, partly decomposed and largely flaked off; silvery iridescence.
