• Description

  Ladle stand, tapering cylindrical with wavy trefoil foot.

  Clay: dense, grayish-white.

  Glaze: lower body, brown pitted with black; upper, deep cream, crackled; green on lip.

  Decoration: brown and gray, under glaze; red, green, yellow, blue, brown, and black enamels, over glaze.

  Inscription in black enamel.
