  Tea caddy (chaire [JPN])

  Tall, slender. Ivory cover. String-cut base.

  Clay: dense, fine-grained, fired reddish-brown.

  Glaze: iron glaze over opaque white glaze. Interior unglazed.

  Weight measured by Matsumura Makiko: 239.87 grams.
