• Description

  Square flask [JPN]; quadrilateral, steep slope out to double shoulder; short round neck, small flaring lip.

  Clay: medium stoneware fired reddish brown.

  Glaze: mottled olive-brown with thick running-over areas of gray-white, cream and blue; some crackle.

  Date and name incised on base.
