Object Details

• Description

  Buff clay. Flattened, irregular ring foot applied over string-cut base. A few incised diagonal lines at one place on lower wall, nearly invisible under slip and glaze.

  Clear, glassy feldspathic glaze, translucent white where thick, over red iron oxide slip; slip partially exposed on base; finger marks in glaze near base.
