• Description

  a: Jar, very large, pear-shaped, with bulbous body. b: Black lacquer cover. Hakeme technique.

  Clay: coarse, sonorous, grayish.

  Glaze: Greenish transparent glaze over brushed-on brown wash and white slip.

  Seal: "Akahada" inside asymmetrical gourd shape.
