    Karatsu ware, Takeo Karatsu kiln group, Kotoge kiln Hakeme-garatsu type.
    Bowl, slightly flaring sides.
    Clay: coarse gray stoneware.
    Glaze: transparent, brownish, finely crackled.
    Decoration: wavy horizontal markings in slip.
    One of a set of three: F1898.502-F1898.504.
