Description
Tea bowl with notched foot.Clay: reddish.Glaze: white slip under clear glaze. -
Label
This Hagi tea bowl bears the notched foot associated with Korean tea bowls, but the stylization of the rim is a design innovation. A thick coating of slip beneath the clear glaze produces the intense whiteness. -
