Description
Clay: hard, grayish.Glaze: luminous cream-white, crackled. Pink flush in interior.Decoration: in purplish-brown and green enamels, and gold, over glaze. Textile design. -

Shonzui Gorosuke (祥瑞五郎助), in pentagonal frame. -
Label
This bowl bears patterns of brocaded silk textiles used for formal court robes. Colored and gold enamels were a hallmark of Kyoto ceramics. -
