In this intimate concert film, Ryuichi Sakamoto gives a solo performance of his album async to a rapt audience sitting in the round. Using a grand piano, a vintage synthesizer, and electronics, along with video and recorded spoken words, Sakamoto weaves together a mesmerizing performance touching on themes of mortality and environmentalism. Film admission policy: Films are shown in the 300-seat Meyer Auditorium. Preregistration (up to four tickets per person per film) is encouraged but not required. Seating is available on a first –come, first served basis for patrons without tickets.
