Listen to Our Stories
Get personal takes on objects from across the National Museum of Asian Art’s collections. In this interactive, members of our museum community recall childhood memories, highlight unique but lesser-known objects, and show how art connects us all.
Select an object to hear a community member’s story about what that object means to them.
This interactive is part of our exhibition Connecting Stories at the National Museum of Asian Art . You can experience this interactive both in the gallery and online. This exhibition uses a small selection of objects, images, maps, and interactives to showcase some of the stories and connections reflected in our collections.
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art is committed to preserving, exhibiting, researching, and interpreting art in ways that deepen our collective understanding of Asia and the world. The museum stewards one of North America’s largest and most comprehensive collections of Asian art.
