Description
Introduce your children ages 3–8 to the fascinating world of ceramic repair in this hands-on virtual workshop. Learn about how our conservators repair ceramics at the museum as well as some traditional repair techniques, such as the Japanese practice of kintsugi, or gold lacquer repairs. Children and their caregivers will take a virtual tour of the exhibition Japanese Art from the Collection and create kintsugi-inspired artwork using materials at home.
