Join Angela Killoren, CEO of CJ ENM America, in conversation with Jerry Won, host of the Dear Asian Americans podcast, on the meteoric rise of Korean pop culture, including music, film, TV shows, and food, in the United States. This program is presented in partnership with the Council of Korean Americans.

About Angela: 
Angela Killoren is co-CEO of CJ ENM America. Since 1995, CJ ENM has been leading Korean entertainment in film, television, music, and other venues. CJ has produced and/or distributed globally acclaimed content including the Oscar-winning film Parasite, the Tony-winning musical Moulin Rouge, the record-breaking Korean box office hits Extreme Job and Ode to My Father, the popular television series The Glory and Vincenzo, and the unscripted format I Can See Your Voice, among others. CJ ENM also presents KCON, the world’s premier K-culture festival, and the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), Asia's biggest music awards. 

In 2022, CJ ENM expanded its global studio footprint with the acquisition of Fifth Season (aka Endeavor Content), which joins Korea’s premier drama creator Studio Dragon and filmmaker-led CJ ENM Studios. TVING, Korea’s fastest growing OTT service, is also part of ENM. 

Angela joined CJ ENM America in 2011 and served as COO from 2016 to 2020. She received her BA in East Asian studies from Columbia University. 


About Jerry: 
Jerry Won is a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and host who has worked with some of the world's most recognized brands in corporate and higher education. He speaks on a variety of topics, including authentic storytelling, personal branding, the creator economy, and the Asian American experience in the workplace. 

He is the founder & CEO of Just Like Media, an Asian American storytelling company whose award-winning podcast brands Dear Asian Americans, MBAsians, The Janchi Show, and Asian Podcast Network have partnered with McDonald's, Focus Features, and the US Census.
