This summer, join us for an entertaining selection of classic Hong Kong movies ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. Start with the documentary Enter the Clones of Bruce (2003), which explores the “Brucesploitation” films that spun out after Bruce Lee’s death in 1973, then see a wild example from this genre, The Dragon Lives Again (1977). Later in the July, catch our thirtieth-anniversary screening of Wong Kar Wai’s iconic Chungking Express (1994) and a new 4k digital restoration of Ann Hui’s drama masterpiece July Rhapsody (2002).
