• Description

  Blue and white cup with flat base and four spur marks on interior well.

  Clay: light grey stoneware.

  Glaze: clear, crazed, glossy.

  Decoration: painted in underglaze cobalt blue over white slip; a flaming pearl encircled by a ring on interior centre, a ring below rim, a band of calligraphy strokes on exterior upper body.
